The Alligator AVT41 from ATEQ tools can be updated manually, via the webVT application. Regular, periodic software updates are recommended in order to access new features (sensor programming – manual ID entry & Retrieve ID), to get vehicle menus for the latest-model cars, and to obtain the latest coverage for OBD-learning. The steps below will help you ensure that your tool is up-to-date with the latest firmwares for vehicle fitments. Manual ID is useful as OE sensors with bad batteries can still be cloned to Alligator sens.it sensors and Retrieve ID can be used when the technician wants to copy the OEM sensor IDs but the original wheels were stolen or damaged.
