The vehicles demonstrate Wegmann’s commitment to coverage additions for the Alligator sens.it TPMS sensors, even for special applications.
The trailer-camera package comes with four OEM sensors and a TPMS module. Once the module is mounted to the trailer and connected to the bumper’s wiring harness, it picks up emissions from the sensors inside the trailer wheels and sends the data to the dash so driver can monitor the tire pressures.
However, if the trailer has more than 2 axels or if sensors are needed for a second trailer, then the owner can use Alligator sensors; the sensor-registration process is the same.
Shops that stock Alligator TPMS sensors are utilizing user-friendly units which make the techs’ jobs easier, reduces unnecessary downtime in the bays for learning or sensor issues, helps the business’ bottom line, and keeps its customers happy and coming back. Wegmann will continue to add value to the sens.it RS+ sensor by adding coverage for different vehicle applications so that the product never goes obsolete.
