Some newer Chrysler & Mercedes vehicles (model 2019-) come with increased security for their on-board diagnostic system (OBD) to prevent hacking. As a result, some scan tools aren’t able to communicate with the cars’ system for TPMS sensor-ID registration (OBD-learning).

One possible work-around is to clone the original sensors. But if that’s not possible, Alligator sens.it sensors support automatic learning for the FCA & Mercedes-Benz vehicles that have that feature.
So if a shop’s TPMS tool can’t perform an OBD relearn and the OE sensors aren’t available for copying then technicians can simply drive the vehicle and it will pick up the new sensors automatically.
