Tesla TPMS Coverage Now Available on Alligator Sens.it RS-series Sensors

Alligator sens.it RS & RS+ universal TPMS sensors now cover Tesla vehicles with 433 MHz systems & Baolong/Continental sensors (2017-21 Model 3, 2008-11 Roadster, 2012-21 Model S & 2016-21 Model X).

The vehicles are some of the first Tesla models available in North America so the reach of Alligator sens.it coverage continues to grow. The cars’ TPMS systems also have an auto-learning feature.

If a scan tool isn’t available for sensor-ID registration, then enable TPMS learning mode using the dash display and drive the vehicle until the dash shows a message that the TPMS reset is complete.

Using sensors that have an auto-learning feature is especially helpful for DIYers that install wheels themselves but don’t have access to a scanner for registering the new IDs and for wheel shops that rely on the end-users to handle the TPMS learning process.

Shops that use Alligator TPMS sensors are working with a part that supports the full range of OE features which makes the techs’ jobs easier, reduces unnecessary down-time in the bays for TPMS learning or sensor issues, helps the business’ bottom line, and keeps its customers happy and coming back.

When replacing OEM sensors with aftermarket units, rest assured that TPMS sensors from Alligator will provide the same functionality that the vehicle offers!
Regardless of the tool that’s used to program the sensors, these cars should be available for programming after completing the latest update.
