TPMS Relearn Information
For vehicles with direct TPMS systems, the wheel set from Extreme Customs comes with Alligator sens.it TPMS sensors. The sensors have already been programmed, but a relearn is required after the new wheels & tires have been installed – the learning process registers the new IDs with the TPMS ECU, so that the vehicle will recognize the new sensors.
If the wheel set will be installed at a tire shop, then please ask the technician to perform a TPMS relearn when the vehicle is there.
If the new wheels are going to be installed by the vehicle owner, then details regarding the TPMS relearn procedure can be found in the owner’s manual.
Note: Manual TPMS relearns typically require some kind of tool for the procedure, either a scan tool or a TPMS activation tool.
